I actually had two firsts with this side board.
1. Over distressing (baby steps, next time I will do more)
2. Using Duck Egg Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan
I love the tone.

DeleteWhat a gorgeous piece! I'm almost finished one in a similar colour, just couldnt use chalk paint as its veneer. It is a beautiful colour, one that most people love :-) Are you going to re-use the original handles?
