Hello! Happy hump day! That one always brings a smile to my face. Today I'm trying to call on spring. Not sure if she's listening, but I really miss her bright smile and warmth. I promise to never complain about the heat, and to keep my air conditioner off until it hits over 30 C.
In the spring spirit, I decided to DIY a mason jar pink.
How cute is this one? Right?
I didn't have chalk paint in pink, but I did have white latex and red chalk paint. I mixed it up in a solo cup. 1/2 cup of white and a teaspoon of red. I've heard that the red chalk paint is quite potent in pigment. They are right. A little goes a long way. Do it in very small amounts, too avoid going to dark. After the paint dried, I rough it up with sandpaper. That's it. Super Easy.
I love the whiteness of the background in this shot. I'm just starting to play around with my camera and different pictures. My camera is just a snappin in the 15 minutes of daylight I get a day. {lol}
Lastly, with my new fav wicker heart. This piece goes with anything.
Thank you for stopping in. Go buy old jars and paint them up. I think I may try a monochromatic jar display? Kinda different.
Take care.
