I'm ready to switch to lake time...
Here's a shot with both signs. Check out my Anchor post is here.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a fabulous Tuesday!
Party Time!!
I love to upcycle everything and anything. Follow me on my adventures.
Love both signs and I like making signs too. My friend really needs the lake sign!
ReplyDeleteThose are totally awesome! Good job! Would you mind sharing some more details? 1. What size are they? I'm guessing they're about 12" x 16". 2. How do you fasten them together? I made a similar sign for the front of my house and just used strips of wood and screws on the back.
ReplyDeleteHi Jolene, 1. They are 12Wx16H (I used 1x5x6 boards, cut every 12", so I get 2 signs/board) 2. I bought a thin mdf, Cut into 1.5" strips about 12" long. Be sure to screw on the board close to the gaps between boards. I tried centering the screws and I found my signs flimsy. I will post a detail post on the how to soon. Hope that helps :)
DeleteThanks Tabatha! I'm making a bunch of these this week to donate to a silent auction at my friend's cancer fundraiser. It's out at a lake property so the theme of your 2 signs is fitting. I'm also doing a third with "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" and a little vintage martini glass graphic.
DeleteThose are some great looking signs, I think I may have to try my hand at one, someday!
ReplyDeleteI really like these! They are really cute! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteFun idea! Wish I was on Lake time right now! lol
